Dallara Academy

The Dallara Academy is a learning centre and exhibition hub spread over two floors, connected by a wide curved glass walkable ramp. The ground floor is composed by spaces to welcoming the public and workshops for schools, while the second floor is dedicated to MUNER university education and to Auditorium.

Here children can experience firsthand the laws of physics applied to automobile design and its development.

The Dallara Academy aims to transmit its heritage of thoroughly developed skills over 46 years and introduce visitors to Dallara’s history and cars. This intent is represented by the originality of the building itself, whose structure is conceived as a “harmonious union of mechanical parts,” where each constituent element has a specific function.

The exhibition ramp, which connects the two floors of the Dallara Academy, houses the cars that have marked the history of Ingegner Dallara first, and of Dallara Automobili later: from the Miura to the X19, up to the Formula 3 and Formula E series, and on to the latest “Dallara Stradale.”

Visitors can enjoy a unique experience of innovation and technology in a walk-through that allows them to get an up-close look at high-performance racing and street cars.

The design and implementation of the Dallara Academy were entrusted to Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia. The architecture was awarded Best Building Under Construction at the ABB Leaf Awards in September 2017.

Moreover the Factory allows visitors to discover the departments that best represent Dallara’s expertise: Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics and Composite Materials.
