Modena Civic Museum is our local museum of art and archeology aiming to keep and preserve the original nineteen-century layout in order to offer a rare museographic testimony to its visitors.

The museum offers an extensive collection of archaeological artifacts spanning from roman to medieval times Here tourists can admire artifacts, sculptures, mosaics, and archaeological remains of various kinds, testifying to the historical and cultural richness of the region.

Among the most famous works are artifacts from Etruscan necropolises and Roman collection. The museum also has a section dedicated to medieval art, with frescoes, paintings and manuscripts offering a fascinating insight into the artistic and cultural history of that period.
