A record edition with flavour and creativity
From October 30 to November 2, the historic centre of Modena turned into a chocolate paradise during Sciocolà – the Artisanal Chocolate Festival, welcoming thousands of visitors and chocolate lovers.
Now in its seventh edition, the event brought together more than a hundred master chocolatiers from all over Italy, creating a sensory journey through bars, pralines, sculptures and new gourmet creations. Via Emilia Centro, Piazza Grande and Piazza Matteotti were filled with sweet aromas and lively crowds in a joyful, festive atmosphere.
Cooking shows, chocolate art exhibitions, workshops for children and live street performances made this edition one of the most successful ever.
The 2025 theme, inspired by comic art, added a fun and imaginative twist that delighted both kids and adults.
Beyond the sweetness, Sciocolà offered the perfect opportunity to explore Modena’s cultural heart – from the Cathedral and the Ghirlandina Tower to the lively Albinelli Market – turning a weekend of chocolate into a full Modenese experience.
Once again, the event confirmed the city’s strong bond with craftsmanship, creativity and taste, the same spirit that inspires our Food & Wine experiences throughout the year.
